Alex and I have spent the past month designing and building a lock for our sliding glass door. We wanted something that would work with HomeKit so that we could easily unlock it as we arrived home and parked the car in the garage. It ended up being quite an adventure and resulted in a rather novel locking mechansim. I can’t find anything else like it on the web, and it is working really well for us.
